- What does the course cost and how do I pay?
- Tuition is $6,900 USD. You can pay in full upfront, which also makes you eligible to have your flights reimbursed up to $600 USD, or in instalments: a $1,000 non-refundable deposit, $2,450 before the course starts, and $3,450 before Week 5. If you withdraw before Week 5, half your tuition is refunded.
- Is there prepwork before the course starts?
- Yes, roughly 40 hours of it, and it is genuine work rather than a formality. You complete it after you accept your offer and before day one. It exists so the cohort starts at a similar level, which matters a lot in a nine-week full-time course. Plan for it when you are working out your notice period.
- Can I do the course online instead of in Bali?
- Yes. Every track runs in person in Canggu or online, with the same curriculum and the same schedule. Studying online means you skip the airfare and the visa, but you also skip the cohort, the campus and the reason the total cost works out the way it does for an in-person Bali course. The flight reimbursement only applies if you attend in person and pay upfront.
- What are the admissions steps?
- Apply online, then an admissions interview, then a short technical quiz. If you are offered a place you pay a deposit, complete the prepwork, pay the remaining fees and start. The quiz assesses logic and problem solving rather than prior coding for the beginner tracks.
- Do I need a visa to study in Bali?
- Most nationalities need a visa to stay in Indonesia for a nine-week course, and the requirements change from time to time. The Le Wagon Bali team walks you through what is currently required once you have a place, and it is one of the first things worth asking them about. Always check the current rules with Indonesian immigration, or your own government travel advisory, before you book flights.
- What happens after the course finishes?
- Le Wagon runs career support for graduates and publishes global outcomes across all its campuses, which you can read in the outcomes report linked on this page. We want to be straight with you though: those are global figures, not Bali-specific ones. Le Wagon has told us directly that placement data and hiring partners for the Bali campus do not exist yet, so treat the global report as context rather than a forecast.
